A. Tinsley-Bown,Leigh T. Canham,M. Hollings,M.H. Anderson,C. L. Reeves,Timothy I. Cox,S. Nicklin,D. J. Squirrell,E. A. Perkins,A. Hutchinson,Michael J. Sailor,A. Wun +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the detection antibody is rabbit IgG and the analyte is α-rabbit IgG conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Journal ArticleDOI
Sensitivity of the optical properties of porous silicon layers to the refractive index of liquid in the pores
M. A. Anderson,A. Tinsley-Bown,Philip Allcock,E. A. Perkins,P. A. Snow,M. Hollings,R. G. Smith,C. Reeves,D. J. Squirrell,S. Nicklin,Timothy I. Cox +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the sensitivity of the optical reflectivity of porous silicon structures to the refractive index of liquid within the pores is studied for a single layer, a Bragg mirror and a microcavity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Immunoassays in a porous silicon interferometric biosensor combined with sensitive signal processing
A. Tinsley-Bown,R. G. Smith,S. Hayward,M. H. Anderson,L. Koker,A. Green,R. Torrens,A.-S. Wilkinson,E. A. Perkins,D. J. Squirrell,S. Nicklin,A. Hutchinson,A. J. Simons,Timothy I. Cox +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Orthogonal subspace signal processing algorithms (OSPA) have been developed to extract the optical thickness of a porous silicon layer to within one part in 10 5 from its reflectivity spectrum, which is equivalent to a limit of detection (LOD) of -40 pm change in optical thickness for a 3 μm thick layer, or an LOD of 1/2000 of a monolayer coverage with antibodies.
