Journal ArticleDOI
Re-emerging superconductivity at 48 kelvin in iron chalcogenides
Liling Sun,Xiao-Jia Chen,Xiao-Jia Chen,Jing Guo,Peiwen Gao,Qing-Zhen Huang,Hangdong Wang,Minghu Fang,Xiaolong Chen,Genfu Chen,Qi Wu,Chao Zhang,Dachun Gu,Xiaoli Dong,Lin Wang,Ke Yang,Aiguo Li,Xi Dai,Ho-kwang Mao,Zhongxian Zhao +19 more
TL;DR: It is reported that in the superconducting iron chalcogenides, a secondsuperconducting phase suddenly re-emerges above 11.5 GPa, after the Tc drops from the first maximum of 32 K at 1 GPa.
Journal ArticleDOI
Breakdown of three-dimensional Dirac semimetal state in pressurized Cd3As2
Shan Zhang,Qi Wu,Leslie M. Schoop,Mazhar N. Ali,Youguo Shi,Ni Ni,Quinn Gibson,Shang Jiang,Vladimir A. Sidorov,Wei Yi,Jing Guo,Yazhou Zhou,Desheng Wu,Peiwen Gao,Dachun Gu,Chao Zhang,Sheng Jiang,Ke Yang,Aiguo Li,Yanchun Li,Xiaodong Li,Jing Liu,Xi Dai,Zhong Fang,Robert J. Cava,Liling Sun,Zhongxian Zhao +26 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of in situ high-pressure synchrotron x-ray diffraction and single-crystal transport measurements was carried out on Cd3As2, and it was shown that the 3DDSM transition from a metallic tetragonal phase to a semiconducting monoclinic phase in space group P2(1)/c at critical pressure 2.57 GPa.
Journal ArticleDOI
Role of the 245 phase in alkaline iron selenide superconductors revealed by high-pressure studies
Peiwen Gao,Rong Yu,Liling Sun,Hangdong Wang,Zhen Wang,Qi Wu,Minghu Fang,Genfu Chen,Jing Guo,Chao Zhang,Dachun Gu,Huanfang Tian,Jianqi Li,Jing Liu,Yanchun Li,Xiaodong Li,Sheng Jiang,Ke Yang,Aiguo Li,Qimiao Si,Zhongxian Zhao +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, a high-pressure study on the insulating samples with pure 245 phase and biphasic superconducting (SC) samples was conducted and it was shown that the Mott insulating (MI) state and the M' state coexist over a significant range of pressure up to similar to 10 GPa, the same pressure at which the superconductivity vanishes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Emergence of double-dome superconductivity in ammoniated metal-doped FeSe.
Masanari Izumi,Lu Zheng,Yusuke Sakai,Hidenori Goto,Masafumi Sakata,Masafumi Sakata,Masafumi Sakata,Yuki Nakamoto,Huyen Nguyen,Tomoko Kagayama,Katsuya Shimizu,Shingo Araki,Tatsuo C. Kobayashi,Takashi Kambe,Dachun Gu,Jing Guo,Jing Liu,Yanchun Li,Liling Sun,Kosmas Prassides,Kosmas Prassides,Yoshihiro Kubozono +21 more
TL;DR: The observation of a double-domesuperconducting phase may provide a hint for pursuing the superconducting coupling-mechanism of ammoniated/non-ammoniated metal-doped FeSe.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of prototypical Brinkman-Rice Mott physics in a class of iron chalcogenides superconductors
X. H. Niu,Shuijin Chen,Juan Jiang,Z. R. Ye,Tianlun Yu,D. F. Xu,Min Xu,Yu Feng,Yajun Yan,Binping Xie,Jun Zhao,Dachun Gu,Luchao Sun,Qianhui Mao,Hangdong Wang,Minghu Fang,Changjin Zhang,Jiangping Hu,Zhengzong Sun,Donglai Feng +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used angle-resolved photo-emission spectroscopy to study a major fraction of the known 122$^{*}$-series iron chalcogenides with chemical substitution.
