Journal ArticleDOI
Self-healing of cross-linked PU via dual-dynamic covalent bonds of a Schiff base from cystine and vanillin
TL;DR: A Schiff base containing dual-dynamic covalent bonds synthesized from the biomaterials, cystine and vanillin, showed excellent reversibility under external stimuli by metatheses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of High Performance Polyurethane Elastomers Using Vanillin-Based Green Polyol Chain Extender Originating from Lignocellulosic Biomass
TL;DR: In this paper, a DV-ethanol amine conjugate (DV-EA)-based polyurethane was used as a chain extender in the synthesis of a biocontents in the final polymer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermal Healing, Reshaping and Ecofriendly Recycling of Epoxy Resin Crosslinked with Schiff Base of Vanillin and Hexane-1,6-Diamine
TL;DR: It is inferred that thermal-healing, reshaping, and reprocessing properties can be implemented in the various crosslinked epoxy resins with the bio-derived dihydroxylimine hardener, albeit the recycled epoxy resin is of inevitably lower quality than the original material.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immobilization of avidin on the functionalized carbon nanotubes
Young Soon Kim,Joong-Hee Cho,S.G. Ansari,Hyung-Il Kim,Mushtaq Ahmad Dar,Hyung-Kee Seo,Gil-Sung Kim,Dai-Soo Lee,Gilson Khang,Hyung-Shik Shin +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an avidin solution was coupled with the solution of N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) and 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylamino propyl)-carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC) to form a covalent bond with functionalized carbon nanotubes.
