Selective Referral Using CCTA Versus Direct Referral for Individuals Referred to Invasive Coronary Angiography for Suspected CAD: A Randomized, Controlled, Open-Label Trial
Hyuk Jae Chang,Fay Y. Lin,Dan Gebow,Hae Young An,Daniele Andreini,Ravi Bathina,Andrea Baggiano,Virginia Beltrama,Rodrigo Cerci,Eui-Young Choi,Jung Hyun Choi,So-Yeon Choi,Namsik Chung,Jason H. Min +40 more
TL;DR: In stable patients with suspected CAD who are eligible for ICA, the comparable 1-year major adverse cardiovascular events rates following a selective referral and direct referral strategy suggests that both diagnostic approaches are similarly effective.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cardiologist Concordance With the American College of Cardiology Appropriate Use Criteria for Cardiac Testing in Patients With Coronary Artery Disease
Fay Y. Lin,Lisa R. Rosenbaum,Dan Gebow,Robert Kim,Michael J. Wolk,Manesh R. Patel,Allison Dunning,Troy M. LaBounty,Millie Gomez,Leslee J. Shaw,Jagat Narula,Pamela S. Douglas,Subha V. Raman,Daniel S. Berman,James K. Min +14 more
TL;DR: Cardiologist agreement with published AUC ratings is generally high, although physicians classify more uncertain indications as inappropriate, and active clinical interpretation of a procedure contributes most to increased procedure preference.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diagnostic Performance of a Novel Coronary CT Angiography Algorithm: Prospective Multicenter Validation of an Intracycle CT Motion Correction Algorithm for Diagnostic Accuracy
Daniele Andreini,Fay Y. Lin,Asim Rizvi,Iksung Cho,Iksung Cho,Ran Heo,Gianluca Pontone,Antonio L. Bartorelli,Saima Mushtaq,Todd C. Villines,Patricia Carrascosa,Byoung Wook Choi,Stephen A. Bloom,Han Wei,Yan Xing,Dan Gebow,Heidi Gransar,Hyuk Jae Chang,Jonathon Leipsic,James K. Min +19 more
TL;DR: The motion correction algorithm studied reduces artifacts and improves diagnostic performance for obstructive CAD on a per-vessel basis and in selected subgroups on aper-subject basis.
