TL;DR: The data support the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic renal procedures in elderly patients and this safety extends to patients of advanced age (>80 years); however, patients with a Charlson comorbidity index >2 are at a greater risk of complications in the perioperative period.

TL;DR: The case of a 29-year-old man with ARVD/C and multiple episodes of symptomatic ventricular tachycardia terminated by implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) discharges illustrates that ARVD-C may result in elevated cardiac enzymes in the absence of coronary artery disease.
