Observation of a nonlocal conductivity in the mixed state of YBa2Cu3O7- delta : Experimental evidence for a vortex line liquid.
Hugo Safar,Peter Ledel Gammel,David A. Huse,Satya N. Majumdar,Lynn Schneemeyer,David J. Bishop,Daniel Lopez,Gladys Nieva,F. de la Cruz +8 more
TL;DR: Observations suggest that in a finite temperature interval, the vortex state in YBa[sub 2]Cu[sub 3]O[sub 7] is a line liquid.
Journal ArticleDOI
Residual energies after slow cooling of disordered systems.
David A. Huse,Daniel S. Fisher +1 more
TL;DR: Etude pour des systemes desordonnes, dont des verres de spins, Proposition d'un comportement general pour de tels systemes frustres.
Journal ArticleDOI
Perturbation expansions for quantum many-body systems
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for developing high-order, zero-temperature perturbation expansions for quantum many-body systems is presented, where spin models with a variety of interactions are discussed explicitly.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ground states of low-dimensional quantum antiferromagnets.
Journal ArticleDOI
Possible vortex-glass transition in a model random superconductor
TL;DR: It is suggested that the model superconductor behaves very much like the Ising spin glass, suggesting that it too may have a spin-glass-like ordered phase at nonzero temperature, namely the vortex-glass phase.
