Journal ArticleDOI

On the effect of geomagnetic fluctuations on trapped particles

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of large-scale geomagnetic fluctuations on Van Allen belt particles with mirror points near the equatorial plane is studied in a model where a dipole field is perturbed by the sudden approach and adiabatic withdrawal of a perfectly conducting plane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synchrotron radiation from a dipole field

TL;DR: Two-dimensional Stokes parameters for synchrotron radiation from ultrarelativistic electrons in dipole field were derived in this paper, where the Stokes parameter was derived from the two dimensions of the two-dimensional graph.
