Unconstrained eigen-filter pairs for SAR detection

TL;DR: In this article, a distortion-invariant filter algorithm for object detection in SAR imagery is presented, which is based on two premises: filters that separate object classes are also expected to reject clutter and using eigen-data instead of actual training images and removing fixed peak constraints improve the generalization of the filter.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Optical processing for model-based vision

TL;DR: Use of a hierarchy of correlation filters allows one to address all levels of model based vision including detection, segmentation, and classification, which significantly reduces the object geometry and contrast search space required.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Optical-electronic moments feature-based recognition system controlled by parameters of the input images

TL;DR: It is described the special purpose multiprocessor computer system, which realizes the proposed methods of IPR, and the system is reconfigurable, with the architecture controlled by parameters of the input images.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multiple degree of freedom object recognition using optical relational graph decision nets.

TL;DR: Simulation results demonstrate the robustness of the processors to quantization of the filter coefficients and to noise and the design of Fisher linear discriminant functions for use at the nodes of binary and multidecision nets is discussed.
