Long-term outcomes after catheter-based renal artery denervation for resistant hypertension: final follow-up of the randomised SYMPLICITY HTN-3 Trial

Deepak L. Bhatt, +106 more
- 01 Sep 2022 -
TL;DR: The SYMPLICITY HTN-3 trial showed the safety but not efficacy of the Symplicity system at 6 months follow-up in patients with treatment-resistant hypertension, and long-term blood pressure changes in renal artery denervation and sham control groups are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Correlation between noninvasive and endovascular Doppler in patients with atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis: a pilot study.

TL;DR: Patients with atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis have preserved vasomotor response to papaverine, as well as marked increases in renal flow and resistive index following successful renal artery stenting, and a correlation was found between the noninvasive and endovascular measures diastolic/systolic ratio.
