TL;DR: The Gibbs states of classical equilibrium statistical mechanics can be extended to states on non commutative algebras, satisfying the Kubo-Martin-Schwinger boundary condition as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The Gibbs states of classical equilibrium statistical mechanics can be extended to states on non commutative algebras, satisfying the Kubo-Martin-Schwinger boundary condition. This way of looking at Gibbs states is applied here to the study of differentiable dynamical systems when some (strong or weak) hyperbolicity conditions are satisfied.

TL;DR: This paper pose the question de savoir si les mathematiques du 20eme siecle sont une construction logique naturelle ou arbitraires, and considere l'exemple de la mecanique statistique en equilibre.

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in the S -K spin glass model, with the random couplings {J^ }, for all βJ co, to that of a shifted Gaussian variable with a given covariance [of order 0(1)] under the weak assumption that the distribution of Jtj is symmetric with respect to zero and has finite moments of all orders.
Abstract: The main result of [1] is that in the S -K spin glass model, with the random couplings {J^ }, for all βJ co, to that of a shifted Gaussian variable with a given covariance [of order 0(1)]. As correctly stated there, this result is derived under the (weak) assumption that the distribution of Jtj is symmetric with respect to zero and has finite moments of all orders. The explicit term Fo was presented in [1] as coinciding with lίm (β)" logAv(Z). That identification of Fo
