Journal ArticleDOI

Electrical behaviour of compressed magnesia powder

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the electrical behavior between the central electrode rod and the outer casing up to 1200°C by measurement of the d.c. resistance and the frequency dependence of the a.k.a. impedance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electromagnetic coupling in small grain YBa2Cu3O7–δ superconducting ceramics: full and hollow cylinders

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a method to assess the electromagnetic characteristics of a superconducting ceramic material, which can be described by a critical state model where they assume a linear dependence between the local critical current density (j c ) and the local magnetic field (H ) for the superconducted polycrystalline material.
