Journal ArticleDOI

Intrinsic microvasculature of the sciatic nerve in the rat

TL;DR: The results indicate that blood supply to the sciatic nerve is an “open‐ended” system in which the vessels run longitudinally within the epineurium and connect with external vasculature primarily at junction points, less vulnerable to a severe or complete disruption in blood supply.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent density decline in wild-collected subarctic crustose coralline algae reveals climate change signature

TL;DR: A century-long annually resolved growth, density, and calcification rate record from the crustose coralline alga Clathromorphum nereostratum, a dominant calcifier in Pacific Arctic and subarctic benthic communities, was presented in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sensory and vascular changes in a rat monoarthritis model: prophylactic and therapeutic effects of meloxicam

TL;DR: Both prophylactic and therapeutic treatment with meloxicam effectively reduced swelling, oedema and extravasation of Evans blue dye in the affected joint, and also reduced mechanical stimulus evoked pain scores.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Slot-Beam Digital Mammography Using A Time-Delay Integration (TDI) CCD

TL;DR: In this article, a beryllium-window x-ray image intensifier (XRII) was used to obtain a scatter-to-primary photon fluence ratio of 0.1 for a 4 cm compressed breast.
