Journal ArticleDOI

In situ reduction of silver nanoparticles by sodium alginate to obtain silver-loaded composite wound dressing with enhanced mechanical and antimicrobial property

TL;DR: The silver-loaded hydrogel is an ideal wound dressing that has good mechanical properties, antibacterial activity and biocompatibility, and the particle size is small and uniform, which meets the requirements of antibacterial material.
Journal ArticleDOI

Research on the fatigue and fracture behavior due to the fretting wear of steel wire in hoisting rope

TL;DR: In this article, a series of experiments on the fretting friction and wear of steel wires were performed on an elastic beam oscillation test rig, and the worn wires after fretting tests were put into fatigue test on the servo-fatigue test machine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Finite element analysis of hoisting rope and fretting wear evolution and fatigue life estimation of steel wires

TL;DR: In this article, a finite element analysis of hoisting rope and three-layered strand for the exploration of fretting fatigue parameters and stress distributions on the cross-section is presented. And the Archard's wear law based evolution of the fretting wear depth of wires crossed at different angles and implications to fatigue life estimations of fretted wires are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Friction and wear behavior of nitrogen ion implanted UHMWPE against ZrO2 ceramic

TL;DR: Nitrogen ion implantation enhances the microsurface hardness of UHMWPE and the wettability on implanted UH MWPE surfaces is improved, and it is found that the friction coefficients of implanted UhMWPE obtain higher values than the untreated one.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of tribological behavior of nylon composites filled with zinc oxide particles and whiskers

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of ZnO particles and whiskers filling on the friction and wear behavior of nylon composites under a dry friction condition was investigated, and the hardness, tensile strength and scratch coefficients of two kinds of Nylon composites filled with the ZnOs and Whiskers were measured.
