Linking Lysosomal Enzyme Targeting Genes and Energy Metabolism with Altered Gray Matter Volume in Children with Persistent Stuttering

TL;DR: The results support further study of the involvement of lysosomal enzyme targeting genes, as well as energy metabolism in stuttering, and genes whose expression was highly correlated with the gray matter volume differences were enriched for glycolysis and oxidative metabolism in mitochondria.
Journal ArticleDOI

Restriction site polymorphism at the LPA (Lp(a) apoliprotein; apoliprotein(a)) locus

TL;DR: A restriction site polymorphism in the Lp(a) apoliprotein gene (the LPA gene) is reported and the basis for the polymorphism is presence or absence of an MspI restriction site that appears to be 3‘ to the last kringle IV structure of the gene.
