Testing for Pay and Promotion Bias in an International Organization
TL;DR: This paper studied how cultural diversity, reducing costs and avoiding discrimination are resolved in the World Bank's hiring processes and found that half of salary and grade differentials between men and women and staff from high and low-income countries are attributable to differences in productive characteristics.

TL;DR: In this paper , the reliability and validity of cognitive and socioemotional skills measures and the correlation between schooling, skills acquisition, and labor earnings were assessed and found that more years of schooling is correlated with higher cognitive and emotional skills.
