Journal ArticleDOI

Paraquat-loaded alginate/chitosan nanoparticles: preparation, characterization and soil sorption studies.

TL;DR: The results presented in this work show that association of paraquat with alginate/chitosan nanoparticles alters the release profile of the herbicide, as well as its interaction with the soil, indicating that this system could be an effective means of reducing negative impacts caused by paraquats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal behavior of coffee oil (Robusta and Arabica species)

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the lipid profile and thermal behavior of the roasted and in nature coffee oil of Arabica and Robusta species, using thermogravimetry, differential thermal analysis, derivative thermograves, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and modulated DSC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterisation of Dextran-70 hydrogel for controlled release of praziquantel

TL;DR: A hydrogel was developed from 70 kDa dextran (DEX-70) and praziquantel incorporated as a model drug and showed slow release that resulted in controlled release of the drug.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal characterization of solid lipid nanoparticles containing praziquantel

TL;DR: Univ Estadual Paulista, Dept Farmacos & Med, Fac Ciencias Farmaceut, BR-14801902 Araraquara, SP, Brazil as mentioned in this paper
