TL;DR: The study demonstrated that five weekly intra-articular injections of sodium hyaluronate (Hyalgan) were superior to placebo and well tolerated in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee with a symptomatic benefit which persisted for 6 months.

Four new anti-inflammatory drugs: responses and variations.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors conducted a double-blind crossover trial comparing fenoprofen, ibuprofen and naproxen, and found that the most common side effects were those related to the upper gastrointestinal tract; these showed individual variation and seldom occurred with more than one or two drugs.

TL;DR: In a double-blind, cross-over trial the articular index was sufficiently sensitive to detect a statistically significant difference between the responses of patients with OA to an anti-inflammatory agent and to a simple analgesic.
