Journal ArticleDOI

Transient magnetic fields for large-Z atoms recoiling through gadolinium

TL;DR: In this article, Coulomb excitation of the 52− first excited state in 207Pb, whose g-factor is well known, was used to calibrate the transient field for Z = 82 recoils in ferromagnetic gadolinium at 77 K over a wide range of velocities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spin precession of unresolved high-spin states in 153–156Dy

TL;DR: In this article, spin precession results from continuous and discrete gamma rays were used to deduce average g -factors and collectivities at spins I = 20−30 h. And they observed marked differences in the two bombardments.
