Journal ArticleDOI
A bioreaction-diffusion model for growth of marine sponge explants in bioreactors.
F. García Camacho,Tarik Chileh,M.C. Cerón García,A. Sánchez Mirón,El-Hassan Belarbi,Yusuf Chisti,E. Molina Grima +6 more
TL;DR: The model is shown to satisfactorily explain the measured growth behavior of the marine sponge Crambe crambe in two different growth media and is generally consistent with published data for growth of explants of the sponges Disidea avara and Hemimycale columella.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of CO2 from flue gases coupled to the photosynthetic generation of organic matter by cyanobacteria
C.V. González López,F.G. Acién Fernández,J. M. Fernández Sevilla,M.C. Cerón García,B. Llamas Moya,E. Molina Grima +5 more
Book ChapterDOI
CHAPTER 16:Development of Photobioreactors for H2 Production from Algae
TL;DR: This chapter addresses major aspects in the design and scale-up of photobioreactors (PBRs) for hydrogen production, and provides guidelines for optimal process design.
Journal ArticleDOI
Obtaining EPA-rich polar lipids from microalga Nannochloropsis sp. by silica-gel chromatography using non-toxic solvents
María D. Macías Sánchez,María J. Jiménez Callejón,A. Robles Medina,Pedro A. González Moreno,Elvira Navarro López,Luis Esteban Cerdán,E. Molina Grima +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors obtained eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) rich polar lipids from the saponifiable lipids (SLs) extracted from the microalga Nannochloropsis sp.
