Nuclear decay properties of light einsteinium isotopes
TL;DR: In this article, the light einsteinium isotopes 248 Es, 249 Es, 250 Es and 251 Es were synthesized by irradiating a 249 Bk target with 3 He and 4 He ions.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Separation of Milligram Quantities of Americium and Curium by Extraction Chromatography
Journal ArticleDOI
High speed-high efficiency separation of the transplutonium elements by extraction chromatography☆
E.P. Horwitz,C.A.A. Bloomquist +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the separation of various tripositive transplutonium elements by high efficiency extraction chromatographic columns using di(2-ethylhexyl)orthophosphoric acid (HDEHP) as the stationary phase was analyzed in terms of the resolution function.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nuclear properties of 254Md, 255Md, 256Md, 257Md and 258Md
TL;DR: Successive chemical separations of Fm indicate the existence of another 254Md isomer having a half-life of 28 ± 8 min, and the α/(α+EC) ratios for 255Md, 256Md and 257Md were measured to be 7 ± 1 %, 8.5 ± 0.8 % and 10 ± 3 %, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
The extraction chromatography of californium and einsteinium with a high molecular weight quaternary ammonium nitrate.
TL;DR: In this paper, the separation of californium and einsteinium by extraction chromatography was studied using a high molecular weight quaternary ammonium nitrate (Aliquat-336 nitrate) absorbed on hydrophobic diatomaceous earth.
