TL;DR: The data suggest that EPA/GLA may play a beneficial role in the treatment of enterally fed patients in the early stages of sepsis, without associated progression of septic shock, and intention-to-treat analysis demonstrated that patients fed the EPA/ GLA diet developed less severe sepsi and/or septicshock.

TL;DR: The rate of sepsis diagnosed by the emergency department team as well as the number of patients transferred to the ICU was very low, and training improved diagnosis and decreased the time delay for septic patients in arriving at theICU.
