Mesoporous materials for the retention and separation of haloacetic acids
Barbara Bonelli,Maria Concetta Bruzzoniti,Edoardo Garrone,Edoardo Mentasti,Barbara Onida,Corrado Sarzanini,V. Serafino,E. Tarasco +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of composition and synthesis conditions of mesoporous materials on their retention properties have been studied and elucidated in terms of electrostatic interactions and as a function of the residual surfactant content in the materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kinetics of oxidation of formic acid by silver(II) in aqueous perchloric acid solution
Ezio Pelizzetti,Edoardo Mentasti +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the kinetics of formic acid by silver(II) in acidic perchlorat emedia (1.00M) at 14.0, 22.0 and 30.0 °C using a stopped-flow spectrophotometric technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of ligands for the recovery of trace aluminium(III) by anion-exchange
TL;DR: In this paper, the preconcentration of aluminium(III) traces in the form of anionic complexes on an anion-exchanger is described, and the ligands used to form anionic complex are hydroxide, sulphosalicylic acid, chromotropic acid and 2-(4-sulphophenyl)-1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene-3,6-disulphonic acid.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical fibres: atomic spectroscopic methods for the determination of fluoride glasses composition
Ornella Abollino,Marco Braglia,C. Contardi,G. Dai,Edoardo Mentasti,S. Mosso,Corrado Sarzanini +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, three different methods for the evaluation of the composition of optical fibres employed in long distance telecommunications have been developed based on inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry coupled with: 1. wet chemical dissolution; 2. alkali fusion; 3. direct solid slurry sampling.
