TL;DR: In this paper, a multicenter retrospective study of the outcome of penetrating keratoplasty for ocular trauma in children was carried out, and the authors found that children who received amblyopia treatment and appropriate optical correction post-operatively were more likely to have visual improvement than those who did not.

Ex vivo transduction of corneal epithelial progenitor cells using a retroviral vector.
TL;DR: This study shows that a retroviral vector can effectively transduce corneal epithelial progenitor cells, shown by the long-term appearance of transduced cells on the cornea in vivo and the stable production of lacZ-positive cells in vitro.
