Journal ArticleDOI

Ocular penetration and pharmacokinetics of topical gatifloxacin 0.3% and moxifloxacin 0.5% ophthalmic solutions after keratoplasty.

TL;DR: Topical preoperative moxifloxacin 0.5% achieved greater corneal and aqueous penetration than did gatifloxin 0.3%, and postoperative use of these agents had similar effects onCorneal reepithelialization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pressure-induced interface keratitis: a late complication following LASIK.

TL;DR: A novel presentation of interface inflammation that resembles DLK in appearance but presents late in the postoperative period, is associated with increased intraocular pressure, and is exacerbated by steroid treatment is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Outcome of penetrating keratoplasty after ocular trauma in children

TL;DR: In this paper, a multicenter retrospective study of the outcome of penetrating keratoplasty for ocular trauma in children was carried out, and the authors found that children who received amblyopia treatment and appropriate optical correction post-operatively were more likely to have visual improvement than those who did not.
Journal Article

Ex vivo transduction of corneal epithelial progenitor cells using a retroviral vector.

TL;DR: This study shows that a retroviral vector can effectively transduce corneal epithelial progenitor cells, shown by the long-term appearance of transduced cells on the cornea in vivo and the stable production of lacZ-positive cells in vitro.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clinical findings in Brown-McLean syndrome.

TL;DR: Two eyes developed Brown-McLean syndrome after phacoemulsification and one eye developed peripheral edema after pars plana vitrectomy and lensectomy, and severe, infectious keratitis occurred after rupture of peripheral bullae in two eyes.
