K–Ar analyses of the post-caldera lavas of Bratan volcano in Bali Island, Indonesia — Ar isotope mass fractionation to light isotope enrichment

TL;DR: The post-caldera lavas of the Bratan volcano in Bali Island, Indonesia were collected for whole rock chemical analyses and K-Ar analyses as mentioned in this paper, showing that the lavas are basalts to andesites and typical of subduction-related tectonic setting.

A Hercynite-rich Inclusion in the Vigarano CV3 Chondrite

TL;DR: An unusual hercynite-rich inclusion was found in the Vigarano CV3 chondrite as mentioned in this paper, which consists of grossite, corundum, and perovskite, which are common in normal refractory inclusions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Insights into the formation and evolution of extraterrestrial amino acids from the asteroid Ryugu

TL;DR: In this paper , the concentrations of amino acids from two asteroids from different touchdown sites (TD1 and TD2) were reported and the concentrations showed that N,N-dimethylglycine (DMG) is the most abundant amino acid in the TD1 particle, but below detection limit in the other.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mineral assemblages and K-Ar ages of metamorphic rocks in Ohshima Yawatahama city, Ehime Prefecture

TL;DR: In this article, high-grade metamorphic rocks such as garnet amphibolite and garnet-biotite gneiss were found in Ohshima, Yawatahama city, western Shikoku.
