Self-perceived occupational stress and distress in a Scottish police force
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe an empirical study of occupational stress in a Scottish police force and find that the highest levels of associated stress lie in relation to organizational factors such as officers' perceptions of staff shortages, inadequate resources, time pressures, lack of communication and work overload.

TL;DR: The largest and most consistent treatment gains were evidenced by the Cognitive behaviour therapy and the Fluvoxamine + cognitive behaviour therapy groups, with the latter showing these gains 2 weeks earlier in treatment than those of the medication-alone groups.

TL;DR: To evaluate speculation indirectly suggesting that brief arousal may be beneficial to animals, 39 cotton-top tamarins living in 4 large families were observed after normal husbandry procedures that excite them, and after exposure to an over-flying bird model.

TL;DR: Findings from a two-year research study which examined the communication of 93 adolescent and adult AAC users with cerebral palsy and 186 of their communication partners show that some of the obstacles to effective use of AAC systems include lack of availability and accessibility.
