TL;DR: In this article, the authors used an adapted in-house RBD-IgG ELISA to assess the antibody levels, avidity, and subclasses of IgG to RBD protein, in symptomatic patients with severe and mild forms of COVID-19 in Brazil using an adapted RBD ELISA, which showed 100% of specificity and 94.3% of sensibility on detecting antibodies in the sera of hospitalized patients.

TL;DR: The detection by serotyping Mabs was generally consistent for dried filter paper MAb samples stored frozen for over 1 year at -20°C, and although decreased reactive antibody titers were found after storage, this did not interfere with the specificity of the Mabs used after 13 years as dry spots on filter paper.

TL;DR: Findings suggest that, in urban environments of Brazil, the cat adapted C. felis may play a potential role in the zoonotic transmission of cryptosporidiosis whereas the anthroponotic transmission by C. hominis seems to predominate.
