Elastodynamic analysis of a gear pump. Part I: Pressure distribution and gear eccentricity
TL;DR: In this article, a non-linear lumped kineto-elastodynamic model for the prediction of the dynamic behaviour of external gear pumps is presented, which takes into account the most important phenomena involved in the operation of this kind of machines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Elastodynamic analysis of a gear pump. Part II: Meshing phenomena and simulation results
TL;DR: In this article, a non-linear lumped kineto-elastodynamic model for the prediction of the dynamic behaviour of external gear pumps is presented, which takes into account the most important phenomena involved in the operation of this kind of machines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modelling dynamic behaviour and noise generation in gear pumps: Procedure and validation
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a methodology for noise and vibration analysis of gear pumps and its application to an external gear pump for automotive applications using a combined numerical model and experimental analyses.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the vibro-acoustical operational modal analysis of a helicopter cabin
TL;DR: In this article, a modal decomposition formulation for a vibro-acoustical operational modal analysis (OMA) is presented for high scale structures where the structural responses are usually measured by means of moving sensor arrays and additional fixed reference sensors should be positioned on the surface.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the wear and lubrication regime in variable displacement vane pumps
TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental methodology for the analysis of the lubrication regime and wear that occur between vanes and pressure ring in variable displacement vane pumps is proposed based on Archard's law and takes advantage of wear experimental measurements, an empirical model for the estimation of contact pressure forces and hardness standard tests.
