All-Inorganic CsPbBr3 Nanocrystals: Gram-Scale Mechanochemical Synthesis and Selective Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction to Methane
Santosh Kumar,Santosh Kumar,Miriam Regue,Miriam Regue,Mark A. Isaacs,Emma Freeman,Salvador Eslava,Salvador Eslava +7 more
TL;DR: Halide perovskite CsPbBr3 has recently gained wide interest for its application in solar cells, optoelectronics, and artificial photosynthesis as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
PrFeO3 Photocathodes Prepared Through Spray Pyrolysis
Emma Freeman,Emma Freeman,Santosh Kumar,Santosh Kumar,Sophie R. Thomas,Sophie R. Thomas,Hayley Pickering,David J. Fermín,Salvador Eslava,Salvador Eslava +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors assess the activity of PrFeO3 photocathodes prepared by using spray pyrolysis and calcination temperatures between 500 and 700°C and show that films calcined at higher temperatures reduced the probabilities of recombination due to trap states, resulting in faster rates of charge extraction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electricity generation from moss with light-driven microbial fuel cells
Pablo Ampudia Castresana,Sara Monasterio Martinez,Emma Freeman,Salvador Eslava,Mirella Di Lorenzo +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, an innovative membrane-less light-driven plant microbial fuel cells (PMFC) was proposed and demonstrated its ability to harvest energy from moss, achieving a peak power output approximately 14 times higher than the case of no photocatalyst and a reduction in the Ohmic losses of approximately 50%.
