How the effects of actions become our own
Laura Zapparoli,Silvia Seghezzi,E Zirone,G Guidali,Marco Tettamanti,Giuseppe Banfi,Nadia Bolognini,Eraldo Paulesu +7 more
TL;DR: Using functional magnetic resonance imaging, it is found that the sense of agency is associated with a brain network including the pre–supplementary motor area (SMA) and dorsal parietal cortex and this findings make a prospective theory of thesense of agency more likely.
Like the back of the (right) hand? A new fMRI look on the hand laterality task
Laura Zapparoli,P Invernizzi,Martina Gandola,Manuela Berlingeri,A. De Santis,Alberto Zerbi,Giuseppe Banfi,Eraldo Paulesu +7 more
Journal ArticleDOI
A Novel Approach to the Problem of Non-uniqueness of the Solution in Hierarchical Clustering
TL;DR: The method presented here is based on the definition of an equivalence relation over dendrograms that allows developing all and only the significantly different d endrograms for the same dataset, thus reducing the computational complexity to polynomial from the exponential obtained when all possible dend rograms are considered.
Journal ArticleDOI
When I am (almost) 64: The effect of normal ageing on implicit motor imagery in young elderlies
Laura Zapparoli,Gianluca Saetta,Carlo De Santis,Martina Gandola,Alberto Zerbi,Giuseppe Banfi,Eraldo Paulesu +6 more
TL;DR: Results are interpreted as evidence of compensatory processes associated with ageing that permit a behavioral performance comparable to that of younger subjects, even when these are implicitly evoked.
Journal ArticleDOI
Productive symptoms in right brain damage.
Gabriella Bottini,Anna Sedda,Elisa Raffaella Ferrè,P Invernizzi,Martina Gandola,Eraldo Paulesu +5 more
TL;DR: The more recent studies on productive symptoms from the neuropsychological, neurophysiological and anatomical points of view are summarized to provide some clarifications on the cognitive impairments underpinning the main productive disorders, also contributing to better understand the normal functioning of the brain.
