Journal ArticleDOI

Differential distribution of dynamin isoforms in mammalian cells.

TL;DR: The results indicate that the dynamin family is more extensive than was originally predicted and suggest that the different dynamin proteins are localized to distinct cytoplasmic or membrane compartments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Minimum CAG repeat in the human calmodulin-1 gene 5′ untranslated region is required for full expression

TL;DR: It is indicated that the endogenous repeat element is required for full expression of hCALM1, and that some triplet repeat expansions in the 5'-UTR of protein-coding genes may be well tolerated and even optimize gene expression.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural features of the hydroxy- and keto-disubstituted bile salts: human serum albumin binding

TL;DR: It was found that bile salts are bound to the benzodiazepine binding site on human albumin (site II), producing a perturbation on site I, fatty acids and bilirubin binding site and the presence of only one substituent at C3 (oxo or OH) produce an important perturbations on the fatty acid binding sites, decreasing the polarity of the its microenvironment.
