HPV vaccination in a context of public mistrust and uncertainty: a systematic literature review of determinants of HPV vaccine hesitancy in Europe
Emilie Karafillakis,Clarissa Simas,Caitlin Jarrett,Pierre Verger,Patrick Peretti-Watel,Fadia Dib,Stefania De Angelis,Judit Takács,Karam Adel Ali,Lucia Pastore Celentano,Heidi J. Larson +10 more
TL;DR: Comparative analyses indicated that confidence determinants differed by country and population groups, which supports the need to develop context-specific interventions to improve confidence in HPV vaccination and design community engagement strategies aiming to build public trust.
Journal ArticleDOI
An IgG-induced neutrophil activation pathway contributes to human drug-induced anaphylaxis
Friederike Jönsson,Luc de Chaisemartin,Vanessa Granger,Aurélie Gouel-Chéron,Caitlin M. Gillis,Qianqian Zhu,Qianqian Zhu,Fadia Dib,Pascale Nicaise-Roland,Christelle Ganneau,Maria Hurtado-Nedelec,Catherine Paugam-Burtz,Skander Necib,Hawa Keita-Meyer,Matthieu Le Dorze,Bernard Cholley,Bernard Cholley,Olivier Langeron,Olivier Langeron,Laurent Jacob,Benoit Plaud,Marc Fischler,Caroline Sauvan,Marie-Thérèse Guinnepain,Philippe Montravers,Michel Aubier,Sylvie Bay,C. Neukirch,Florence Tubach,Dan Longrois,Sylvie Chollet-Martin,Pierre Bruhns +31 more
TL;DR: It is found that concentrations of anti-NMBA IgG and markers of FcγR activation, PAF release, and neutrophil activation correlated with anaphylaxis severity, which supports the existence of an IgG-neutrophil pathway in human NMBA-induced anphylaxis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Online mis/disinformation and vaccine hesitancy in the era of COVID-19: Why we need an eHealth literacy revolution.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors make the case that eHealth and media literacies should be viewed as fundamental skills that have the potential to empower citizens to better recognize online mis/disinformation and make informed decisions about vaccination as any other health matters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of high flow nasal cannula oxygen and conventional oxygen therapy on ventilatory support duration during acute-on-chronic respiratory failure: study protocol of a multicentre, randomised, controlled trial. The 'HIGH-FLOW ACRF' study.
TL;DR: This study protocol describes a trial designed to investigate whether high-flow heated and humidified nasal oxygen therapy in patients with hypercapnic acute respiratory failure (ARF) reduces the need of non-invasive ventilation (NIV).
Journal ArticleDOI
Human papilloma virus prevalence in HIV patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
Annabelle Picard,Cécile Badoual,Muriel Hourseau,C. Halimi,Hélène Péré,Fadia Dib,Béatrix Barry,Sebastien Albert +7 more
TL;DR: HIV immunodeficiency may increase HPV persistence and progression of HNSCC and HPV-negative tumors tend to be associated with poorer 5-year overall survival.
