TL;DR: It is shown that a nonuniform temperature distribution within the battery can make local plating of Li above 0 V vs. Li0/Li+ thermodynamically favorable, causing the likelihood of this failure mechanism during commercial Li-ion battery operation, including both slow and fast charging conditions to be confirmed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Zeolite-based Electrolyte Accelerating the Realization of Solid-state Li-Air Battery
TL;DR: In this article, the integrated solid-state lithium-air battery exhibits superior electrochemical stability in ambient air compared to conventional liquid and solid electrolytes, and it offers flexibility, safety and tolerance against abuse.
