Reduction of percutaneous absorption of toxic chemicals by dendrimers.

TL;DR: Furfural flux, about 70 μg/cm2/h in untreated samples, was decreased by PAMAM dendrimer in a concentration-dependent manner up to 12 times with the cotreatment methods and 2.3 times withThe pretreatment method, indicating PAMam’s protective ability against cutaneous toxicants.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Intensified Acrolein Exposure Can Affect Memory and Cognition in Rat

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that chronic oral exposure of acrolein at a dose of 5 mg/kg leads to a direct correlation between neurotoxicity and its CSF concentration, which may cause cognitive problems and serious neurocognitive effects on humans.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Rapid, Simple, Liquid Chromatographic-Electrospray Ionization, Ion Trap Mass Spectrometry Method for the Determination of Finasteride in Human Plasma and its Application to Pharmacokinetic Study

TL;DR: A fast, accurate, sensitive, selective and reliable method using reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray ionization ion trap mass spectrometry was developed and validated for the determination of finasteride in human plasma.
Journal ArticleDOI

Morphine/Codeine Ratio, a Key in Investigating a Case of Doping.

TL;DR: Analysis of codeine to morphine metabolism rate is needed when the authors are using morphine/codeine ratio to rule out abuse of narcotics and WADA should consider analysis for the CYP2D6 alleles in case of including morphine/ codeine ratio in future prohibited list.
