P154 Evaluation of Inhaler Technique Mastery for Budesonide Formoterol Spiromax® Compared with Symbicort Turbohaler® in Adult Patients with Asthma: Primary Results From the Easy Low Instruction Over Time [ELIOT] Study

TL;DR: Maintaining inhaler mastery improved asthma control in both treatment groups and was not significantly different and was supported by significantly higher odds of maintaining mastery when HCP errors were calibrated using independent video assessment in patients using Spiromax.
Journal ArticleDOI

Validation of a method to assess emphysema severity by spirometry in the COPDGene study

TL;DR: ESI methodology has been validated in the large multiethnic population of smokers of the COPDGene study and therefore it could be applied for clinical and research purposes in the generalpopulation of smokers, using a readily available online website.
