Triple-shelled ZnO/ZnFe2O4 heterojunctional hollow microspheres derived from Prussian Blue analogue as high-performance acetone sensors

TL;DR: In this article, a cost-efficient and facile strategy is developed to scalably fabricate triple-shelled hollow binary ZnO/ZnFe2O4 (ZZFO) metal oxides microspheres with excellent intimate heterojunctions through a morphology-inherited annealing treatment of single-resource Prussian Blue analogue of Zn3[Fe(CN)6]2·xH2O solid micro spheres as self-sacrificial templates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hollow core–shell NiCo2S4@MoS2 dodecahedrons with enhanced performance for supercapacitors and hydrogen evolution reaction

TL;DR: In this paper, the NiCo2S4@MoS2 materials have been successfully prepared using zeolitic imidazolate frameworks as templates, including transformation to bimetallic layered double hydroxide, and sequential sulfuration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hollow NiFe2O4 microspindles derived from Ni/Fe bimetallic MOFs for highly sensitive acetone sensing at low operating temperatures

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of hollow NiFe2O4 microspindles through an as-developed metal-organic framework (MOF) route, which involves two steps: the preparation of Ni/Fe bimetallic MOF solid microspindle precursors and their subsequent transformation to the final materials via annealing treatment in the air.
Journal ArticleDOI

Template-assisted synthesized MoS2/polyaniline hollow microsphere electrode for high performance supercapacitors

TL;DR: In this article, a template-assisted method was proposed to synthesize molybdenum disulfide/polyaniline (MoS2/PANI) hollow microspheres with excellent electrochemical performances for supercapacitors applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon coated nickel–cobalt bimetallic sulfides hollow dodecahedrons for a supercapacitor with enhanced electrochemical performance

TL;DR: In this paper, hollow bimetal sulfides composed of Ni3xCo3−3xS4 nanobuilding blocks were successfully achieved by the sulfuration of NiCo coexisting well-defined ZIF-67 dodecahedrons.
