Using transcriptome Shannon entropy to evaluate the off-target effects and safety of insecticidal siRNAs
Weihua Ma,Tong Wu,Zan Zhang,Han Li,Gongming Situ,Chuanlin Yin,Xin-hai Ye,Mengyao Chen,Xianxin Zhao,Kang He,Fei Li +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors studied the off-target effects of two insecticidal siRNAs in both target and non-target insects and found that the unintended significant changes in gene expression levels did not strictly match with the number of contiguous nucleotides in the siRNA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Erratum to “Mutations in acetylcholinesterase associated with insecticide resistance in the cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii Glover”: [Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology 34 (2004) 397–405]

Journal ArticleDOI
Different dietary sources of selenium alter meat quality, shelf life, selenium deposition, and antioxidant status in Hu lambs.
TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of selenium-enriched yeast and selenized glucose on lamb production and slaughter performance was evaluated in the case of 32 male Hu lambs (32.31 ± 3.31 kg; 4 months old).
Journal ArticleDOI
Stress and its impairment of skin barrier function
TL;DR: In this article, the relationship among psychological stress, skin homeostasis, sleep quality, and emotion was explored, and it was shown that the relationship between psychological stress and skin health can affect sleep quality and emotional well-being.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photoelectrochemical water oxidation improved by pyridine N-oxide as a mimic of tyrosine-Z in photosystem II
TL;DR: In this paper , an easily available pyridine Noxide (PNO) derivative was used as an efficient electron transfer relay between an organic light absorber and molecular water oxidation catalyst on a nanoparticle TiO2 photoanode.
