Ostgathe,Gunther Reinhart,W Roesel,Thomas Ruehr,Anna Schuboe,Kristina Shea,Ingo Stork genannt Wersborg,Sonja Stork,W Tekouo,Frank Wallhoff,M. Wiesbeck,Michael F. Zaeh +23 more
TL;DR: The general principles of autonomy and the proposed concepts, methods and technologies to realize cognitive planning, cognitive control and cognitive operation of production systems to realize fully autonomous components of an production system as well as autonomous parts and products are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
A holistic approach for the cognitive control of production systems
TL;DR: A concept for a cognitive production planning and control system, in which so-called smart products store knowledge about the production process and its current state, and which is able to react to unforeseen events and autonomously adapts the planning data to the actual elapsed values of the real production.
Book ChapterDOI
Adaptive Job Control in the Cognitive Factory
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a paradigm of the cognitive factory, which combines the advantages of automated systems with the flexibility, adaptability and reactivity of human workshops, and demonstrate the feasibility and benefit of the holistic approach by implementing in a realistic production environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Knowledge-based machine scheduling under consideration of uncertainties in master data
Florian Geiger,Gunther Reinhart +1 more
TL;DR: This article describes an approach that uses production-condition-dependent execution times of all throughput time components under the consideration of uncertainty for robust production planning of order-driven single and small series batch production.
Journal ArticleDOI
Handlungsfelder zur Realisierung energieeffizienter Produktionsplanung und -steuerung
TL;DR: In this paper, Handlungsfelder beschreibt handlung-felder zur Realisierung einer energieproduktiven PPS and somit zur Reduktion des Energieverbrauchs sowie der resultierenden Enerincomekosten.
