Stuccos and román concretes of the Baelo Claudia city (Cádiz): Characterization and causes of decay

TL;DR: In this article, the nature and conservation state of different stuccos and Roman concretes from the Roman city of Baelo Claudia (Cadiz) have been investigated and different causes of their decay have been found, among which we should emphasize the loss of the binding material (lime), basically due to the processes of partial solubilization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efecto del ZnO, ZrO2 y B2O3 en el proceso de clinkerización: Parte I. Reacciones de clinkerizacion y composición de los clínkeres

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of adding 0.5 and 2% ZnO, ZrO2 and B2O3 to the raw mix, separately and jointly, on clinkerization and the distribution and morphology of the mineral phases in the clinker was explored.

Natural radioactivity of Portland cement mortars made with granite sand

TL;DR: The 15th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement (ICCC) was held in Praga (Republica Checa) del 16 al 20 de septiembre de 2019.

Heat-insulating material based on cullet subjected to mechanochemical activation

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of recycling mixed cullet, a constituent of solid common wastes, remains topical and it is shown that the method of mechanochemical activation makes it possible to obtain a mixed alkaline binding substance which is promising for the production of unfired heat-insulating materials with high mechanical properties.
