Cardioprotection mechanism of mangiferin on doxorubicin-induced rats: Focus on intracellular calcium regulation
Femmi Dwinda Agustini,Wawaimuli Arozal,Melva Louisa,Soni Siswanto,Vivian Soetikno,Nafrialdi Nafrialdi,Franciscus D. Suyatna +6 more
TL;DR: MGR protected against DOX-induced cardiac inflammation and apoptosis via down-regulation of proapoptotic and proinflammatory gene expressions, upregulation of SERCA2a gene expression, and normalization of cytosolic calcium level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Association of the HLA-B alleles with carbamazepine-induced Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis in the Javanese and Sundanese population of Indonesia: the important role of the HLA-B75 serotype.
Rika Yuliwulandari,Erna Kristin,Kinasih Prayuni,Qomariyah Sachrowardi,Franciscus D. Suyatna,Sri Linuwih Menaldi,Nuanjun Wichukchinda,Surakameth Mahasirimongkol,Larisa H. Cavallari +8 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that screening for the HLA-B75 serotype can predict the risk of CBZ-induced SJS/TEN more accurately than screening for a specific allele.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Moringa oleifera Leaves Extract Against Hematology and Blood Biochemical Value of Patients with Iron Deficiency Anemia
Dona Suzana,Franciscus D. Suyatna,Azizahwati,Retnosari Andrajati,Santi Purna Sari,Abdul Mun’im +5 more
TL;DR: It can be concluded that moringa leaves extract could improve iron deficiency anemia in women, and was formulated in capsules and administrated daily for 3 weeks.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-Diabetic Potential of Murraya Koenigii (L.) and its Antioxidant Capacity in Nicotinamide-Streptozotocin Induced Diabetic Rats.
TL;DR: Murraya koenigii possesses antidiabetic activity and antioxidant effects on STZ-NA induced diabetes mellitus and exhibits a profound antioxidant effect with decreased MDA level and increased GSH level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Apium graveolens Extract Administration on the Pharmacokinetics of Captopril in the Plasma of Rats.
TL;DR: Celery extract can alter the pharmacokinetic of captopril when given in combination, and the combination might be beneficial for the treatment of hypertension, as celery causes an increase in the plasma level ofcaptopril, which can enhance its efficacy.
