TL;DR: It is concluded that DAMME either directly inhibits the corticotroph at the level of the pituitary, or that it suppresses release of an additional factor which normally potentiates the action of CRF‐41 on the pituitsary.

TL;DR: A 7-year-old boy with pituitary dependent Cushing's disease was treated withpituitary irradiation following unsuccessful microadenomectomy, which led to normalization of the hypercortisolaemia, but was followed by GH deficiency two years after radiotherapy, which may be associated with accelerated pubertal development.
