Journal ArticleDOI

Study on the mechanical properties of the nanoconcrete using nano-TiO2 and nanoclay

TL;DR: In this paper, a small mass fraction of nano-TiO2 particles as cement substitute and nanoclay as the fine aggregate substitute was used to enhance the mechanical properties of the concrete.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon nanofiber embedded cement composites: Properties and promises as sensor – A review

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explore the properties of an embedded carbon nanofiber cement composite that transforms composite into a cement-based sensor, and present the various causes behind electromechanical characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study on influence of partial replacement of bitumen by low density polyethylene

TL;DR: In this paper , a shear mixer is used to mix the plastics with the bitumen, at temperatures between 150°C and 160°C. The bitumen is replaced with plastic in the percentage of 5%, 7.5% and 10%.
