Journal ArticleDOI

CA 125, PET alone, PET-CT, CT and MRI in diagnosing recurrent ovarian carcinoma: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

TL;DR: PET-CT might be a useful supplement to current surveillance techniques, particularly for those patients with an increasing CA 125 level and negative CT or MR imaging, however, regarding to diagnostic accuracy, interpreted CT images may have limited additional value on PET in detecting recurrent ovarian cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Knockdown of lactate dehydrogenase A suppresses tumor growth and metastasis of human hepatocellular carcinoma.

TL;DR: The studies reveal that previously unidentified effects of LHDA may mediate tumor growth and metastasic effects in HCC, and found that FAK, MMP–2, VEGF and E–cadherin proteins contribute to inhibitory effects on metastasis in H CC cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

LINC01123, a c-Myc-activated long non-coding RNA, promotes proliferation and aerobic glycolysis of non-small cell lung cancer through miR-199a-5p/c-Myc axis

TL;DR: Since LINC01123 is upregulated in NSCLC, correlates with prognosis, and controls proliferation and aerobic glycolysis by a positive feedback loop with c-Myc, it is expected to be a potential biomarker and therapeutic target forNSCLC.
Journal ArticleDOI

miR-22 inhibits tumor growth and metastasis by targeting ATP citrate lyase: evidence in osteosarcoma, prostate cancer, cervical cancer and lung cancer

TL;DR: Findings provide unequivocal proofs that miR-22 is responsible for the posttranscriptional regulation of ACLY, which yields promising therapeutic effects in osteosarcoma, prostate, cervical and lung cancers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hypoxia-induced lncRNA-AC020978 promotes proliferation and glycolytic metabolism of non-small cell lung cancer by regulating PKM2/HIF-1α axis.

TL;DR: It is indicated that AC020978 was upregulated in NSCLC, significantly correlated with advanced TNM stage and poor clinical outcomes, representing as an independent prognostic predictor and was a poor prognosticator.
