TL;DR: Applying the abbreviated 4-variable MDRD equation in 571 353 adult outpatients undergoing a general health examination from the Swedish Apolipoprotein-related Mortality risk (AMORIS) cohort showed strikingly different prevalence estimates of CKD depending on which GFR estimating equation was used.
