Targeting the molecular chaperone heat shock protein 90 (HSP90): lessons learned and future directions

TL;DR: With more than 200 "client" proteins, many of them meta-stable and oncogenic, HSP90 inhibition can affect an array of tumors and lessons learned from completed clinical trials of H SP90 inhibitors are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Multicenter Phase I Trial of PX-866, an Oral Irreversible Phosphatidylinositol 3-Kinase Inhibitor, in Patients with Advanced Solid Tumors

TL;DR: This first-in-human study shows that PX-866, an irreversible small-molecule inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K), was well tolerated and was associated with prolonged stable disease, particularly when using a continuous dosing schedule.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reproducibility of the School-Based Nutrition Monitoring Questionnaire among fourth-grade students in Texas.

TL;DR: The SBNM questionnaire showed good to excellent reproducibility for nutrition behavior questions, physical activity, weight behavior, and food selection skills overall, but questions that assessed nutrition knowledge and attitudes were not as reproducible, probably resulting from learning effects over time.
Journal ArticleDOI
