Quantification of lycopene in the processed tomato-based products by means of the light-emitting diode (LED) and compact photoacoustic (PA) detector

TL;DR: In this article, the combined use of a high power light emitting diode (LED) and the compact photoacoustic (PA) detector offers the possibility for rapid (no extraction needed), accurate (precision 1.5%) and inexpensive quantification of lycopene in different products derived from the thermally processed tomatoes.
Journal Article

Some properties of composite resins cured by pulsed blue laser

TL;DR: In this article, an analysis of the properties of composite resin samples cured by pulsed laser in comparison with standard halogen light was carried out, and the results showed that the degree of conversion values obtained by excimer laser was significantly higher for all the materials and shades tested while the polymerization shrinkage values were significantly lower compared with the conventional curing unit.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of an optical frequency comb using modified direct frequency comb spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for determination of the absolute frequencies of comb lines within an optical frequency comb spectrum is proposed. But the method is not suitable for real-time measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Absolute and relative line intensity measurements when the spectral lines are not optically thin

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the curves of growth to determine the Doppler absorption coefficient at the line center, kD0, from absolutely measured line intensities (equivalent widths) and theoretical widths.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantum simulation of bound-free spectra. Lithium dimer 23Πg-13Σu+ transition

TL;DR: In this article, the shape of the emission spectrum was used to obtain information about the population distribution within rovibration levels of the upper state of the bound-free transition.
