Asymmetric self-broadening of Cs principal lines

K Niemax, +1 more
- 11 Jul 1974 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the long-range interaction potential Delta omega =C3/r3 multiplied by the oscillator strength was determined from measurements of the 16.16 lines of the principal series of Cs(62s1/2 to 7-162p3/2 and 62s 1 2 to 7 -122p 1/2) in absorption.
Journal ArticleDOI

The 458 nm diffuse band of the lithium dimer

TL;DR: In this paper, single and double-photon excitation was performed using UV lines of Ar++ and Kr++ lasers, and the diffuse band fluorescence was induced by collisions in 7Li2 and 6Li2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photochemical production of the electronically excited NaCd excimer

TL;DR: The first observation of the photochemical reaction that produces the electronically excited NaCd excimer was reported in this article, where the suggested reactive collision, Na 2 (B 1 Π u ) + Cd → Na Cd(A 2 Π, B 2 Σ + ) + Na, presents an efficient way for preparation of new metal vapor excimers previously inaccessible at relatively low temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cusp satellite bands in the spectrum of Cs2 molecule

TL;DR: In this article, measurements and a theoretical explanation of the cusp-shaped satellite bands in the blue wing of the Cesium D2 resonance line have been observed for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI

CARS investigations of quenching and photochemical reactions in the Na+H2 collision system

TL;DR: In this article, the authors carried out parallel studies of the quenching process in Na(3p)+H2 collisions and the possible reactive process in N 3p + H 2 collisions.
