Human beings are curious in nature. Exploring unknown places is not a new kind of adventure that many people opt for and often times this type of works lead people to danger without having proper data about the environment. This paper is on an autonomous humanoid explorer robot which can move around the area and attached some sensors with this robot those provide some important parameters of the environment such as temperature, relative humidity, amount of methane, Carbon-Di-Oxide, Carbon mono-Oxide. Also the robot is equipped with wireless 3G module for communication and collection of data. Later, the data collected from the robot are evaluated and analyzed to have a clear idea of the environment that the robot dealing with.

Humanoid Explorer Robot: Design and Fabrication

The exploration of unknown terrain can be dangerous without having proper data about the environment. In this paper, a mobile robot is demonstrated which can communicate wirelessly and also capable of providing some important parameters of the environment such as relative humidity, temperature, amount of methane, Carbon-di-Oxide and Carbon mono-oxide. The robot is designed as a small cart to achieve flexibility in motion and equipped with 3G module to communicate and collect data wirelessly. Later, the data collected from the robot are evaluated and analyzed to have a clear idea of the environment, the robot dealing with.

Design and fabrication of a teleoperated explorer mobile robot

In this paper, we have presented the mechanical design and fabrication of a Bipedal walking robot as well as control strategies to be implemented for walking and balance recovery. For this robot, we considered Six Degree of Freedom (D.O.P) in the lower body one at each hip, one at each knee and one at each ankle. Each degree of freedom is powered by a RC servo motor and this robot is controlled by Arduino Mega 2560 micro controller. By balancing center of mass (C.O.M) it walks in rhythmic way as like as human one.
