Journal ArticleDOI

Inverse scattering problem for the Schrödinger equation with magnetic potential at a fixed energy

TL;DR: In this article, the Schrodinger operator in R n ≥ 3 was considered with electric and magnetic potentials which decay exponentially as |x|→∞, and the scattering amplitude at fixed positive energy determined the electric potential and the magnetic field.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the inverse boundary value problem for linear isotropic elasticity

Gregory Eskin, +1 more
- 01 Jun 2002 -
TL;DR: In this article, the inverse problem of determining the Lame parameters λ(x) and μ(x), for an isotropic elastic body from its Dirichlet-to-Neumann map was studied.
MonographDOI

Lectures on Linear Partial Differential Equations

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a short introduction to the modern theory of linear partial differential equations and present complete proofs in an accessible and self-contained form, including the Atiyah-Singer index theorem in Rn and the oblique derivative problem.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new approach to hyperbolic inverse problems

TL;DR: In this paper, a modification of the BC method in inverse hyperbolic problems is presented, where the main novelty is the study of the restrictions of the solutions to the characteristic surfaces instead of the fixed time hyperplanes.
