An active control method for vibration reduction of a single-link flexible manipulator

TL;DR: In this article , a new method is proposed by configuring the movement parameters of the flexible manipulator to reduce the residual vibration of the manipulator after the movement of the deceleration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multiobjective Optimization of Chemically Assisted Magnetic Abrasive Finishing (MAF) on Inconel 625 Tubes Using Genetic Algorithm: Modeling and Microstructural Analysis

TL;DR: In this article , the genetic algorithm (GA) was used to optimize the chemical assisted MAF process parameters during the finishing of Inconel 625 tubes for improving internal surface finish, external surface finish and material removal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Parametric Assessment of Surface Topography and Its Influence on Joint Tightness of Non-Separable Joints for Thin Wall Applications

TL;DR: In this article , the analysis of the surface topography was carried out, focusing on three-dimensional parameters, such as Sq, Ssk, Sku, Sp, Sv, Sz, Sa, Spd, and Spc.

Thermaltransport phenomenon of submerged arc welding process

Abstract: In present work, thermal transport considering heat radiation by oval heat source and heat transfer of molten moving electrode was presented. In present paper, an analytical solution was presented by aggregating temperature increments caused by applying liquid metal and heat radiation of moving electrode. The assumptions for the study were heat source of temperature of applied metal in oval shape and Gaussian distribution of electric heat source. Accuracy of the solution was verified comparing experimental results.
