Journal ArticleDOI

An experimental study for characterization the process of coal oxidation and spontaneous combustion by electromagnetic radiation technique

TL;DR: In this article, a multi-index experimental system for estimating various factors during coal oxidation (heating) and combustion and analyzed the characteristic temperature, index gases, and EMR signals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental study on the effect of preinhibition temperature on the spontaneous combustion of coal based on an MgCl2 solution

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of increasing preinhibition temperature on the inhibitory effect of the spontaneous combustion of coal was studied when using an MgCl2 solution as the inhibitor, and the results showed that prolonging the pre-inhibition time and increasing the preinhibiting temperature synergistically enhanced the inhibition effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on the characteristics and mechanism of a new type of antioxidant gel foam for coal spontaneous combustion prevention

TL;DR: In this article, a new type of antioxidant gel foam was proposed for coal mine fire prevention and control, which was prepared by introducing procyanidins into the gel system (sodium silicate / coagulant / bentonite).
Journal ArticleDOI

Variation of CO2/CO ratio during pure-oxidation of feed coal

TL;DR: In this article, a method was designed to obtain the gas production characteristics of pure oxidation pathway, and the relationship between the change of active groups and CO2/CO during pure oxidation was investigated by means of in-situ FTIR and model compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on Preparation and Performance of Calcium Carbide Slag Foam for Coal Mine Disaster Reduction and CO2 Storage

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of calcium carbide slag foaming under the action of different types of foaming agents, including sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), SDS, SDBS, polyoxyethylene fatty alcohol (PEFLAES), and octyl decyl glucoside (APG0810), were tested and analyzed.
